I think that to every extent the administration and teachers are
responsible for the inequities at Wilson. Parents of course did have
influence on these individuals, but the staff implemented the social
stratification in the first place. This is no different
than 'separate but equal' that took place in the '50s. These
administrators especially should have known better. They allowed this
to happen and if sit here and say they didn't realize what was going on
we are just as jaded as they were. The real issue
is leadership that didn't want to sacrifice their careers fighting
parents for what is right. The teachers too are to blame for allowing
such things to happen on their campus. The 'upper' level arts teachers
of course liked the way things had been designed.
They should all be reassigned to different areas or retire from
teaching all together. I am sure they could open up some private
schools for teaching the arts in the community. The upper class white
parents would probably pay them well.

The Blame game...
To what extent are the administrators and/or the teachers responsible for the inequities at Wilson and the other dilemmas?
